In grades 9-12 students embark upon a more rigorous course of study. Bible Doctrines is now called Bible Evangelism. Here students study the Seventh-day Adventist present-truth bible doctrines in depth, learn the art of writing sermons, giving Bible studies, and presenting the word in public.
The Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) are also studied through the lens of the body. Students pursue a 3-year medical missionary course of study where they learn the theory and practical ways to treat and prevent diseases. “It is our duty to study the laws that govern our being and conform to them. Ignorance in these things is sin.” –Unpublished Testimonies, August 25, 1897. “A practical knowledge of the science of human life is necessary in order to glorify God in our bodies. It is therefore of the highest importance that among studies selected for childhood, physiology should occupy the first place.”—The Health Reformer, August 1, 1866. The sciences in combination with the Medical Missionary training provides a solid foundation for understanding how the body works.
Students complete their studies in High School by taking the Entrepreneurship capstone course where they learn how to become entrepreneurs.

Geometry is closely connected to other branches of mathematics such as Algebra, Logic, Probability, and Trigonometry. This course is designed to help students develop and refine their analytical, inductive, and deductive thinking skills. Students will often “learn by doing” through an informal guided-discovery approach. They will actively be involved in this process of learning and will “discover” geometry for themselves. Geometric figures will be described, analyzed, and used in various applications. Logical thinking, both inductive and deductive, is emphasized. Focus is placed on thinking through the problem and the steps needed to reach the solution.

Our bodies are built up from the food we eat. Each organ of the body requires its share of nutrition. The brain must be supplied with its portion; the bones, muscles, and nerves demand theirs. Foods should be chosen that best supply the elements needed for building up the body. – Ministry of Healing p. 295. Students will learn about the original diet in the Nutrition portion of this course and will study the physical and physiological principles underlying the effects of proper nutrition and treatment applications.

Year 1 of 3. This foundational chemistry course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of core chemical principles. By the conclusion of the course, students will possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in advanced science coursework. Key topics encompassed by the curriculum include atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, states of matter, and solutions. The course strikes a deliberate balance between theoretical and practical chemistry, with a pronounced emphasis on problem-solving and real-world application. Students should be prepared for rigorous academic engagement.

Students will study the seven seals which cover the prophetic history of nations and the church. The names of the seven churches are symbolic of the church in different periods of the Christian Era. The number seven indicates completeness and is symbolic of the fact that the messages extend to the end of time. The students in our schools should carefully study Daniel and the Revelation, so that they shall not be left in darkness, and the day of Christ overtake them as a thief in the night. If the youth will study this book and learn for themselves what is truth, they will be saved from many perils.

The scripture which above all others had been both the foundation and the central pillar of the advent faith was the declaration: “Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” Daniel 8:14. Those who are preparing to enter the ministry, who desire to become successful students of the prophecies, will find Daniel and the Revelation an invaluable help. They need to understand this prophecy. It speaks of past, present, and future, laying out the path so plainly that none need err therein. There is found solid, eternal truth for this time. Every student needs the light and information it contains.

Students will also learn how to use it safely, and in the most effective manner. This course will teach students how herbalists prepare and use herbs. It offers students a method for learning a collection of herbs for each human body system. By the end of this course, students will have an in-depth knowledge of herbal medicine for a wide variety of health issues and will know how to make herbal remedies for these issues.
